#8. Reflection
This project was incredible. Never before have I been able to flex my creative appendages in such a way. I really vibe with the taste of my topic, and I broiled it to a perfection.
The first thing I completed was my collage, that I have dubbed: the Hero-llage. It first began as an easy remedy to complete the required visual media portion, but it ended as my favorite part of the project. The second part I completed was the Heroes bio, which actually started as a small name key under the initial collage. As the collage grew, putting all the names of the people/characters under the picture became impractical, so I moved it to a separate page. Then I thought "People are not going to know some of these characters, so I might as well add a short description to them". The rest is before you. The third part was the poem. I like, love, adore poems. When I write a poem, I write a poem. My aptitude for storytelling shines through in my poem, as the heroic juices carry over into my short story. "The origin of Good" actually steamed from the "Death of Heroes" piece. As I wrote the paper, it started to yaw in the direction of the piece there now. It was a large point in explaining the death of heroes: so large I decided to just chop it off and add to both. The short story was the easiest to write. Writing stories is not hard for me, and since my topic is Heroism, an easy non-fiction tale with my own flavor would have been the simplest to write. |
As I've said before, the "Death of Heroes" piece spawned the "Origin of Good" Piece.
The final Piece, is this one. To be completely honest, I had run dry on ideas that would work for my topic and that I would be able to accurately execute. Eventually I would resolve to reflect on every other piece, and that would be my piece. Yea.
